FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before bringing Sage Score to your team.

How much control do I have over what is included in my programs?

You have full control. While Sage can create full programs, the goal is not to replace the musical intuition of a musician with AI. Sage was built to empower musicians with the tools, resources, and, most importantly time to make thoughtful programs. Because of that, anything Sage recommends is always shown for review and every aspect can be changed by the user.

Can I import a spreadsheet?

Yes. Sage Score supports spreadsheet uploads and automatically maps columns so you can import your existing library quickly.

How do anthologies work?

We help you choose the correct edition, identify its contents, and help you catalog the entire anthology in seconds.

What kind of music can Sage Score support

Anything from solo pieces to large choral-orchestral works, Sage Score is built for any music library.

How does Sage Score recommend pieces for a program?

Sage Score uses AI to analyze your existing library, voicing needs, and performance goals to suggest repertoire that fits your program.

Do I have to create a separate program for every Sunday in the liturgical season?

Sage Score uses the Revised Common Lectionary and an automated program-creation process to help you create programs with or without piece recommendations for every Sunday and feast day in a given time range. You can build a full lectionary season in minutes.
